RECA has two main avenues for young professionals to get involved, build relationships with peers and learn more about the commercial real estate industry. 

Leadership Development Council (LDC)
RECA is committed to cultivating future leaders in order to ensure that RECA will continue to be led by a diverse group of real estate professionals with extensive knowledge of Austin, the surrounding communities and the real estate issues facing these areas. RECA's LDC program is a one-year leadership development program, and class members participate in an overnight retreat, monthly lunch and learn programs, tours of City Hall and the Capitol, the development and presentation of an industry white paper, a mentor program and more. The application process opens each fall and you must be a RECA member for at least six months to apply.

Real Estate + Advocacy + Leadership + Young Professionals (REAL YP)
RECA's REAL YP program gives young members the opportunity to network, volunteer and socialize while learning about the latest industry or professional development topics. REAL YP events are usually $25, and are open to RECA members only and you must register to attend.
