The Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA), is the premiere policy and networking professional group for commercial real estate in Central Texas and has been for over 30 years. RECA membership brings networking and learning opportunities that run the gamut from architecture to zoning. Members also have a direct impact on policy issues affecting development in Austin and the surrounding area. Just look at some of the great things RECA members accomplished in 2020 in our Annual Summary.
As the voice for the commercial real estate industry in Central Texas, RECA strives to provide you with timely information and action alerts, networking opportunities, avenues for political advocacy and opportunities for community service. Proceeds from your membership dues and our KnockOut Night fundraiser finance RECA's operations and advocacy efforts.
RECA boasts a full staff that works cohesively with our members to produce high value content through our lunches, networking and advocacy. Your membership with RECA not only gets you member pricing for our events, but it also supports our advocacy efforts that benefit everyone in our industry.
With multiple options for membership levels, there's sure to be one that is a fit for you and your company. You can either do an individual membership, or if you are looking for broader member benefits and/or additional employees being a part of RECA as well, there are 2 corporate memberships available as well.
So, what are you waiting for?
I’ve watched RECA grow from a small group of a few dedicated individuals into one of the most well-known and effective business organizations in the region with close to 2,000 members. What this organization has done since the early 90’s is impressive, and I’m proud to be a part of it. Our influence has continued to grow under our new generation of leaders.
– Tim Taylor, Past RECA Board Chair
RECA has become an indispensable voice at the table on any issue impacting land use in Austin and I am proud of the advocacy coming from RECA and their ability to influence outcomes even in this challenging regulatory environment.
– Tom Terkel, Past RECA Board Chair
I’m a person who thrives on relationships. I like how RECA allows various folks in the real estate community to come together, share ideas and get to know each other. Thanks to RECA, several of my professional contacts are personal friends. And, who doesn’t want to work with their friends?
