Since RECA's founding in 1991, our annual Christmas in October project has served local community groups in need, contributing more than $2 million in cash and in-kind donations during the process. Neel White of White Construction initiated The Real Estate Council of Austin, Inc.'s Christmas in October modeled after a national program, Christmas in April, to "build a better community one house at a time."
Christmas in October is RECA's largest philanthropic event and participating in the project is a great way to contribute to a worthy cause while networking and building lasting relationships with other RECA members.
