Make a donation below, contribute your talents and pool your resources with other RECA members to benefit Sammy’s House in our annual Christmas in October.
RECA's 2016 Christmas in October committee chose to partner with Sammy’s House, a nonprofit organization that provides services for children who are medically fragile or developmentally delayed. The Christmas in October committee will re-design and renovate interior living and exterior living and play spaces at Sammy’s House. RECA's hope is that these improvements, with your help, will create a safe and healthy living environment for the children to spend quality time with their family and friends. With monetary gifts, and donations of materials, design and labor, we can transform the facilities at Sammy’s House into a more inviting, healing and functional space the children at Sammy’s House can enjoy.

Sammy’s House is a nonprofit organization that provides services for children who are medically fragile and/or developmentally delayed in a nurturing, inclusive environment. The mission of Sammy’s House is to help children and families thrive by giving children the opportunities they need to reach their highest potential through therapy support, curriculum-based instruction, and child care services. The vision embodied in our mission is for Sammy’s House to fill the gaps in services for this vulnerable group of children so that our community can be a place where everyone has the chance to grow and learn to the best of their abilities. Since Sammy’s House was first established in 1999, they have served over 4,300 children with their programing.
